About Us
Jonice Arthur is the Founder of Regna Services, LLC., an organization whose mission is to narrow the ever widening gap between the adult population and what has been deemed a lost generation by providing high quality services in the areas of life coping skills and professional staff development. As a child Jonice received criticism for being too forward in an era that promoted being seen and not heard when all she wanted to do was freely express herself. She realized that free expression of those things she felt a strong conviction for was not always welcomed and there were few adults that were willing to take such a unique ability and cultivate it into something great. It was at that moment that Jonice realized her purpose; to become an advocate for youth helping adults understand that they do have a voice and they need us to help them develop their voices, but more importantly, their voices need to be heard. Since obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology at La Salle University, Jonice has worked as a Prevention Specialist and Teen Leader for the YWCA of Bucks County, a School Improvement Student Advisor for the School District of Philadelphia, a Life Skill’s Facilitator at the Bucks County Correctional Center, and an Instructor for Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth. In addition, she has dedicated her time to volunteerism working with teens through various Youth Leadership Conferences such as those sponsored by the Links, Inc., as well as the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission. As a scholar-practitioner Jonice continued her life-long career obtaining a Master of Science in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum from Drexel University. She believes that teaching comes by example, so what she expects from her students and those young adults she mentors is what she exemplifies. Teaching is not a career but has become her life. Jonice has presented various workshops whose topics include: anger management, conflict resolution, life skills, role confusion vs. identity, blazing one’s own trail, classroom management and student/teacher connectedness through her use of personal experiences, research, and textbook knowledge. She has been invited to speak on youth topics in various parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania including Mercer, Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties respectively.
